We desire to be community focused and for our church to be like a family.
We are seeking to learn to trust God for the work of ministry and His church.
We serve The Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the one who we are seeking to worship, serve, and love.
To see God take messed up people like us and make something beautiful.
So often we as the church create an environment that is fake. People seem to want to 'clean up' in order to be a part of a church. This is not what the church of the New Testament was like. The church is a place of honesty and realness.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Jesus Christ came to rescue or save sinners like you and me. As a wise man once said, 'you and I are more messed up than we think, but God loves us way more than we could ever imagine'!
Due to our imperfect actions, we have earned eternal death and eternal seperation from God. We are all forced to pay a penalty. We earn death because of our sin and we are in desperate need of help.
The great news is that Jesus Christ was perfect yet he died on the cross (which is a sign of being cursed). He died the death you and I should have died because of our sin. Instead of us paying the death penalty, because we have not met the standard God set for us, Jesus took our place as the perfect substitute. He was perfect and we are not. He gave His life to rescue us from our sin and give us life with God both now on earth and forever in heaven. We no longer have to live in sin and misery, but can have forgiveness and a real life not defined by sin and self-justification, but a life of knowing Jesus and being defined by Him!
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast..” - Ephesians 2:8-9
The Holy God freely gives this gift of salvation to His people, but this gift is only received through faith in Jesus Christ and not our good works.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father, except through me.” - John 14:6
We must place our faith in Him alone for salvation and this can be done today! By praying for God to give you a sincere heart and asking Jesus Christ to give You life in Him, you can have eternal life through Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches us the truth about God, ourselves and our world. It is the only rule of faith and practice. God’s inspired word is contained in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments.
There is one eternal, perfect God who exists in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three persons of the Trinity take part in our lives and are to be loved and worshipped.
Because our salvation is God's work and not ours and a free gift, not earned, God will keep us secure in His love to the end.
God has saved us in order that we might enjoy Him and live for His glory. God desires that we live holy and obedient lives, not to earn His favor, but rather to show Him our love and gratitude.
At death, the Christian's soul immediately passes into the presence of God. Heaven is where the believer in Christ will forever experience the beauty and glory of God. Hell is the place where those who die without Christ live eternally apart from God and any trace of His goodness.
Baptism is a sign of God's covenant with His people, and should be administered to those who place their trust in Christ, as well as their children.
Jesus Christ will return to earth at a future time when He is not expected. He will bring history to a close and usher in the eternal plan of God.
